For larger jobs, mix Slimy Grimy with water in a 1-, 2- or 3-gallon pump sprayer. Always work from the bottom up, spraying upward for even application and to help prevent streaking. On boat bottoms and hulls, brown algae stains can begin to disappear during application, often with little or no scrubbing required.

For orange oxide and other exterior stains, spray from the bottom upward. Slimy Grimy can also be used on siding, roofs, shingles, wood, stucco, brick, aluminum and other exterior surfaces. In some applications, it may be left to work overnight when applied at dusk during damp or misty conditions.

Slimy Grimy can also be used as directed for certain laundry applications, including white towels and clothing affected by iron oxide in the water.
